Display Manufacturing Technician Job Description

Job Title: Display Manufacturing Technician

Start Date: Immediate

SUMMARY Performs screen printing of decorative and functional inks and sealants in a production environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform screen printing of inks and sealants using manual, flatbed and rotary screen printing systems.
  • Measure ink mixtures and other chemicals using safe handling practices.
  • Operate UV systems for screen fabrication and curing of inks.
  • Fabricate screens and stencils by coating photo-chemicals, using UV exposure systems and water rinsing.
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail.
  • Read and follow prints, drawings, specifications and procedures.
  • Assist in documentation of processes in Reflex™ display fabrication and help develop new and improved processes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE This candidate will have a high school diploma and some college towards a technical degree and relevant experience is a plus. Basic knowledge laboratory practices and measurements required. 1-3 years of screen printing experience desired with rotary screen printing a plus.
